Abstract: 

Development of modern ignition methods has become a key issue in view of recent advancements in production of low sensitive explosives. Various solutions developed in the world, some solutions developed in the Ballistics Division, and preliminary results of some pyrostatic tests conducted to compare classical ignition with plasma ignition will be presented.
