The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of

Professor

at the Theoretical Physics Division - Department of Fundamental Research (DBP)

Location: 7 Pasteur Street, 02-093 Warsaw

Scientific discipline: physic

Ultimately the successful candidate is expected to take the leading role in the QCD group of Theoretical Physics Division (BP2) at NCBJ.

Requirements:

• professor scientific title;
• significant scientific expertise, documented by publications, in the field of high energy physics with particular emphasis on high energy quantum chromodynamics, high energy hadronic interactions;
• excellent and documented expertise on the higher twist computations of exclusive processes; 
• excellent and documented expertise on both theoretical and phenomenological studies of Generalized Parton Distributions;
• excellent and documented expertise on higher order perturbative computations for the observables at both high and moderate collision energies;
• excellent experience in international collaborations;
• experience in obtaining research grants in open competitions;
• experience in leading research projects, confirmed by the running of grants as principal investigator;
• experience in supervising PhD students;
• excellent spoken and written English skills;
   

Additional assets:

• excellent and documented expertise on higher order perturbative computations for the observables at both high and moderate collision energies;
